FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some frequently asked questions that you may have! We are here to give you a easy and stress free experience even if it is before you use our services!

What specific services do you provide?

Elite Healthcare Nursing Services provide private-duty nursing options from licensed RNs, LPNs, and Nursing Assistants for medically-fragile individuals. We also provide reliable nursing visits for dressing changes, medication teaching, blood draws and much more.

When are your homecare and nursing services available?

Healthcare professionals are available for at least 4-hour shifts, partial days, overnights, and 24-hour care. Because each person’s requirements are unique, we offer flexible or regularly scheduled visits. Your physician will also help you to determine how many hours of nursing you need.

How do you choose your nurses?

We carefully select each of our Certified Nurse Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Registered Nurses. Our staff must have experience and pass pre-employment checks on their character, background investigations, and employment reference checks before being hired. They must also possess current licenses or certifications.

What kind of training do you provide?

Nurses are always encouraged to attend continuing education opportunities. They participate in monthly in-services offered by the agency. Seminars, conferences, and in-services from local institutions such as Johns Hopkins are also made available to our staff.

What can I expect home care services to cost?

Homecare prices will vary depending on the complexity of the necessary services. Typically, hourly visits tend to be more expensive per hour than visits that last 8 hours or longer. Because services are customized to each client’s specific wants and needs, the final price determination is made at the time of your assessment.

How do you match your Nurses and Nurse Assistants with clients?

Nurses and Nurse Assistants are carefully and thoughtfully matched to clients to better optimize the quality of your care. The RN Supervisor selects a nurse based on their skills, availability, as well as their location.
